Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site"), operated by a company established in Japan ("we", "us", "the operator"). The operator's corporate name, address and representative are not published on the Site; they are available on request, as described in the Japan section of the Privacy Policy.
Effective date and acceptance. These Terms take effect on the "last updated" date shown at the top of this page, and that date is also the effective date of the version you are reading. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not access or use the Site. We do not ask you to click to accept, and we do not require an account; your use of the Site is the only act of acceptance there is.
1. What this Site is
The Site provides a structured database of compatibility information — which graphics cards ("GPUs") the published specifications indicate a specific manufacturer desktop computer ("OEM desktop") accepts physically and electrically, and what the VRAM calculation outcome is when a local large language model ("LLM") is sized against a given GPU. The information is compiled from publicly available manufacturer specification sheets and other sources, each labeled with a source and a confidence rating (see our Methodology page).
The Site is an informational reference. It is not a shopping platform, a repair service, or a certification body.
2. No warranty
The Site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
In particular, we make no warranty that any GPU, LLM, or combination listed as "Fits" or "Fits with conditions" will function correctly, without harm to your equipment, or at all in your specific hardware. Compatibility verdicts are derived from published specifications, not from physical testing. We have not physically tested the hardware combinations described on this Site. Individual units vary (power supply tolerances, cooling, BIOS/firmware versions, prior modifications, and wear), and a verdict based on published specifications may not hold for your specific unit.
Always verify compatibility with the manufacturer or a qualified technician before purchasing or installing any component.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to hardware damage, data loss, lost profits, or personal injury — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any information on it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and applies to the maximum extent permitted by the governing law described in Section 7.
4. No affiliation with manufacturers
This Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Dell Technologies, HP Inc., Lenovo, NVIDIA Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Intel Corporation, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
Product names, brand names, and trademarks referenced on the Site are used solely for identification and comparison purposes (nominative fair use) — for example, to identify which specific desktop model or GPU model a page of compatibility data describes. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners. We do not use manufacturer logos or official product photography on the Site.
5. Affiliate links and third-party pricing
Some pages on the Site contain links to third-party retailers (including Amazon.com and eBay) through affiliate programs, from which we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. We do not display prices on the Site except where retrieved live through an official retailer API. Prices, availability, and stock are controlled entirely by the third-party retailer and may change or be inaccurate at any time; we are not responsible for pricing or order fulfillment on third-party sites.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the underlying compatibility database without our prior written permission. You are solely responsible for any purchase, installation, or repair decision you make based on information found on the Site.
7. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of that court.
8. Rights that cannot be excluded
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, warranty, or remedy that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, restricted, or modified. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence gives you rights that Sections 2, 3, or 7 would otherwise limit, those rights apply to you regardless of what those Sections say, and the limitations in them apply only to the extent the applicable law allows.
9. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision is to be applied in the narrowest way that makes it enforceable, or — if it cannot be made enforceable — severed. The remaining provisions stay in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of any other.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last modified" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent substantive change and is the effective date of the revised Terms. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
