The most power-hungry graphics card that fits, by desktop model

Last updated 2026-09-05

Board power is the figure that decides whether a supply can feed a card, but manufacturers do not publish a maximum for the machine. This list does not invent one. Each row shows the highest board power among the cards that carry a fitting verdict on that machine's own page — a floor established by the cards this database happens to hold, not a ceiling stated by anyone. A machine may well accept a hungrier card that is not listed here.

We have not physically tested this combination. Data is compiled from official specification sheets and cited sources. Verify with the manufacturer before purchasing.

The figure is the highest board power among the cards that carry a fitting verdict on that machine, taken from the cards this database holds. It is not a maximum published by the manufacturer, and a machine may accept a card drawing more.

Supporting evidence: in the official Owner's Manual, table 11 "internal connectors", the power connector row lists only an 8-pin for the power supply, a 4-pin for the processor and an 8-pin for SATA power, with nothing for a graphics card, and the machine has a single 240 W supply. Absence from a list is not treated here as proof that the connector does not exist, but it is consistent with the rest of the evidence.
